Here's what you need to know today in the world, according to Business Insider:

1. Budapest's main rail station was shut down to keep migrants from travelling through. Germany triggered a flood of migrants after it said last week that it would ease entry requirements for Syrian refugees.

2. Global stocks got crushed Tuesday. Poor manufacturing figures out of China, Europe, and the US reignited fears that the world is slowing.

3. There's a widespread manhunt north of Chicago. Authorities are chasing three armed suspects after a police officer was shot dead on Tuesday in the suburb of Fox Lake.

4. Texas police are scrambling to get more body cameras for sheriff's deputies. The approved funding comes after video showed police shooting a man supposedly with his hands up.

5. China's army might be getting a modern overhaul. The plans are expected to be announced at a grand military parade in Beijing on Thursday, held in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II.

6. Greece's Syriza party's lead is slipping. A new poll shows that the left-wing party is just one point ahead of the conservative New Democracy party with less than 20 days until a snap election.

7. Guatemala's President Otto Perez has been barred from leaving the country. The move comes just hours after he was stripped of his immunity so he can be prosecuted over his alleged role in a scheme that allowed businesses to reduce their customs duty by paying bribes to corrupt officials.

8. Pope Francis has relaxed the rules on abortion. During the upcoming Holy Year, all priests will be allowed to forgive women who have an abortion, normally only a privilege of designated clergy or a missionary.

9. Thousands of dead fish are washing up on shore near the Olympic venues in Rio. The weekend deaths are being blamed on polluted waters and there's concern it could happen again next summer during the Olympics in Brazil.

10. Google has a new logo. The company says the updated look better reflects the different ways people interact with Google on their smartphones, watches, TVs, cars, or desktop computers.
