RPS has received an update on entry requirements into Oman. So for any travellers going there, here are the regulations from the FCO.

British citizens don’t need to get a visa before travelling to Oman. You can get a visa on arrival at any land, sea or air entry port in the country.

A one-month combined tourist/business visa costs 20 Omani Rials (OMR). You can extend this for 1 month for a further OMR20.

If you are staying in Oman for up to 10 days you can get a business traveller visa on entry for OMR5. This visa can’t be extended.

Passport validity

Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into Oman.

UK Emergency Travel Documents

UK Emergency Travel Documents are valid for entry and exit in Oman however they must have at least a six month validity. Persons not resident in Oman must obtain an exit stamp prior to departure. Contact the local embassy for further information.
