RPS are delighted to announce that we now have male and female trainers who are qualified to deliver and certify Maybo Conflict Management and Physical Intervention skills. You may need these skills for working in difficult situations or for working in challenging environments. Going into a refugee camp if you are an NGO worker, covering a demonstration if you are a journalist, working at night in a foreign city if you are a business man or woman.

Please email us if you are interested in running these courses on [email protected] and to talk to us about what you are planning to do and how we can design a course for your staff. Contact us to learn more about the training courses that RPS can design and deliver for your company employees.

RPS have frequently been asked to deliver "Disengagement Skills" to a wide range of clients, journalists, exec travellers, lone female workers, etc so we decided to send 2 of our trainers on a Maybo run Physical Interventions skills course. Prior to this they attended the Conflict Management course also run by Maybo.

The "Disengagement Skills" course was run over 3 days in High Wycombe, and was very much a practical based course, focusing on how to teach simple safe techniques that anybody can apply, no matter what size or gender. The aim is to be able to free yourself from an attacker, NOT engage in "ninja fighting techniques"!!!

Maybo is the founder and leader of delivering these courses, investing a lot of time, and research to keep their skills updated and within legal guidelines, and they are keen to spread these skills across other sectors.

RPS are pleased to be able to announce that we now have Cath and Ryan who are fully trained and insured to deliver these specialist courses.

We can run these courses - Conflict Management and Disgengagement Skills as separate courses in their own right or incorporated together over one or two days. We are also now adding these skills to our portfolio of courses and can integrate these subjects into our other RPS training programmes. These may not necessarily be certificated. We can design what you want and need for your staff. We will listen to you and offer you a bespoke course programme.

Contact us on [email protected] for more details and for any travel concerns and training.
