Contact [email protected] for any travel concerns or queries on planning projects overseas in either complex, remote challenging or hostile enviroments.

It is good to see trainees of RPS moving forward in a positive way following any training that we have run. The IWPR Training of Trainers (TOT) Project was one of these. Our training for IWPR with the support of Chiron Resources finished with 6 Libyan trainers who followed the RPS TOT course. They then went back to their own country to build capacity within the media. With the basic knowledge they now have, they can run training in their own language and as a result reach more people. Buidling capactiy in national teams is what we support and try to do.

We are delighted to say that this week they ran their first one day course in Tripoli; incorporating basic security and basic emergency first aid. Well done to the IWPR LIbya team. Have a look at our gallery to see photos of the project and our trainees in action.

RPS is also pleased to welcome onboard Sally Seed of Stoneleigh Communications to enhance our crisis communications team. Sally is a specialist in crisis communications and will assist us when training management teams to deal with a crisis. We believe in bringing in experts to enhance our training. And Sally is certainly an expert in her field and we are very lucky to have her on the RPS team of consultants.

Sally has vast experience of handling all aspects of media relations. She has experiece of handling all media for off-site emergency planning and ensuring that schools and outdoor learning organisations can carry out issues assessment and media handling processes. She has trained spokespeople to speak to the media for numerous large organisations; including key message formulation and issues analysis.

Sally currently deals with media liaison and news releases for Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster and is part of the media team for MREW (Mountain Rescue), so she understands the demands of the media and integration with social media channels first hand.

What can RPS can offer to organisations?

We are proud to say that RPS has four areas where we can be of assistance to any organisation:

Consultancy

We can offer security and risk management consultancy; particularly in the area of crisis management. We offer workshops as well as conducting real time scenario exercises, which can help you and your staff to practise their roles in the event of a simulated crisis or we can test them in a real time exercise with your Headquarters and staff in the field.

Training

Our training is tailored to your needs, we can bring the training to your location anywhere around the world or if you are in need of more in-depth training we have a number of great training facilities around the UK. Our main training centre is near Bracknell only 45 mins drive from London Heathrow. We also have a fully licensed and accredited off road driver training school in North Wales, with nearby accommodation.

Our consultants have such diverse backgrounds that we can pretty much cover most regions of the world and any environment; arctic, jungle, mountainous, desert and maritime.

Support at base

RPS will offer an after care service and be there if the need arises. Many questions need answering after the training has taken place and we are only a phone call or email away and can support your teams on the ground directly or indirectly.

Support to your overseas projects

All of our consultants are licensed with the SIA, and if required can escort you on you assignment anywhere in the world. We can also offer real time assistance in the event of a crisis; advising and guiding your management teams.
