A mass march of Palestinians is set to take place throughout the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) on 30 March 2018.
Easter and Passover holidays will take place between 30 March and 9 April 2018. There is a risk of increased tension in Jerusalem and at check points in and around the West Bank and Gaza during this period.
This morning a Tank shell has killed one person and there are other injures on the Gaza border amid the planned unrest
An Israeli tank fired a shell on Palestinian farmers, killing one and injuring another as they operated near the security fence on the border between the Gaza strip and Israel, Reuters has today reported.
Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have planned to begin a six-week tent city protest on 30 March to demand that Palestinian refugees be allowed to return to what is now Israel. They plan to erect tents at various locations along the border in protest until 15 May.
You should avoid demonstrations and follow the instructions of local authorities.
