Overseas Training at your location worldwide.

1-5 day courses at your location.

Africa, Middle East, Central and South America, Asia.

We bring the training to you and have male and female trainers to allow for cultural sensitivities.

RPS Partnership is pleased to offer Hostile Environment Training (HET) or sometimes called Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) courses.

We design hostile environment training courses from 1 day to 5 days, depending on where you are working and where you are travelling. We also consider what you are doing and how or why you are doing it.

We are results driven, if you have to achieve a goal in a hostile environment, then we will help you to do it. We run bespoke courses tailored to what YOU are doing.

Media Hostile Environment Training

Whether you are a news team, production company or are working  as a freelancer, we can design what you need.  No generic courses, we work with you to design a corse that  complements you or your teams current knowledge and experiences.  Helping you to plan how to work more safely.

We designed a 2-Day course for Kiki King and James Brabazon prior to their trip to Syria, which saw the making of "The City that beat ISIS/Liberating Kobani" - Unreported World Channel Four.

We covered planning and preparation, what equipment to take - from headtorches to body armour and helmets. We taught them as much as we could squeeze in: from how to stop bleeding, keeping someone alive when there is no ambulance coming to types of weapons used and what they sound like from afar.  Emergency first-aid or a more detailed battlefield first-aid are vital skills to have.

Click here for more details of our first aid courses.

The two days were jam-packed with useful information on how to work in a conflict zone and how to stay alive and work more safely.

We made sure their risk assessment was robust and that every contigency had been thought of by the team. We worked with them to ensure they were as prepared as they could be.

Other sectors which work in conflict areas.

We have designed a 1-Day programme for 2 people travelling to work with a NGO in Goma, DRC.

We have designed a ½ day preparation for a trainer travelling to Baghdad, Iraq working with a Close Protection team.

We have also designed a 2-Day course for oil workers travelling to Libya, Nigeria and the Middle East.

We don’t have a one size fits all approach to Hostile Environment Awareness Training.

We will talk with you and find out what you want.  If you don’t know, then we can advise you with our vast experience of living and working in these types of places.
