RPS Partnership is mandated to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) when processing personal data. In order to fulfil its obligations under GDPR, RPS Partnership has conducted a Data Mapping process, Data Assessment as well as implemented practices and policies to ensure data security. In addition, RPS Partnership is a registered Data Controller with the ICO and renews its membership annually, see above. Anti Bribery and Corruption
RPS Partnership adheres to the Bribery Act of 2010 and conducts training for staff each year. The training this year took place on 17 November 2018.
Modern Slavery Act - 2015 - Section 54
RPS Partnership's Directors oversee all task and projects overseas. The company only works with employees and consultants who have been vetted in the United Kingdom by the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS). All those working for RPS Partnership have held security clearance by HM Government or currently hold DBS Enhanced certificates.
RPS Partnership has no supply chain as they offer services through its employees and consultants. RPS Partnership has completed the HMG Modern slavery assessment, which is available on request.
RPS Partnership signs Non Disclosure Agreements with all clients whereby they have to agree to abide by the Modern Slavery Act 2015. When RPS Partnership conducts training, due diligence on students is carried out where it is deemed necessary.
RPS Partnership shows effectiveness in its approach as above and does not have a supply chain. Clients who work in vulnerable areas of the world where slavery an dhuman trafficking takes place are vetted by RPS Partnership at the contract stage.
Training about slavery and human trafficking takes place by RPS Partnership Directors and they are updated each year. If they felt it was necessary, they may include this trainnig on their courses overseas and in the UK.

Addresses the human rights problems associated with security provision for oil, gas and mineral projects in conflict- affected areas. RPS Partnership supports the objectives of the VPs, but is not a formal participant.

Summary of legal obligations and best practices, including the human rights obligations of governments and security companies in conflict zones and is directed at governments.

Strategic policy initiative for businesses committed to adopting universally accepted principles including human rights. RPS Partnership is adheres to this.
International Code of Conduct for Private Security Providers
Code applying the principles of the Montreux Document to companies. RPS Partnership adheres to this.
RPS Partnership will give its clients the best possible advice that is consistent with the human rights responsibilities of the Company and of its clients. If the Company judges that its clients are not prepared to act on this advice, RPS Partnership reserves the right to turn down new assignments and to reconsider its role in existing projects.
Risk assessment is a fundamental requirement and must include an assessment of the risk that RPS Partnership activities could – directly or indirectly – contribute to human rights abuses or to an escalation of conflict. Risk assessment is especially important for high-impact projects and those in areas affected by conflict. RPS Partnership’s initial risk assessment will be subject to constant regular monitoring and regular review. A dynamic risk assessment will be carried out for all overseas training venues. Copies of all risk assessments are available on request.
Relationship with Government Security Forces
RPS Partnership’s advice will take full account of the record of, and potential for, human rights infringements that could be incurred by working with government agencies.
Working with Sub-contractors
All subcontractors must abide by human rights principles that are consistent with this policy. If they fail to do so, RPS Partnership has the right to terminate its relationship with them. Prior to working for RPS Partnership, subcontractors will be vetted in accordance with RPS Partnership’s Subcontractor Management Policy.
Use of Weapons and Equipment Transfer
When advising clients, RPS Partnership will consider the risks that transfer of weapons or equipment to local agencies may lead to human rights abuses.
Relationship with Communities
RPS Partnership will take into account human rights considerations when advising clients on the impact of their activities on local communities.
RPS Partnership will investigate any complaints made by external stakeholders concerning suspected human rights abuses or other professional malpractice fairly and transparently, in accordance with its Third Party Complaints Policy.
