Self Defence Training for Women

The one day Self Defence Course for women builds knowledge and skills which dispel fear and create confidence to empower you in our modern world. The Courses are designed to focus on the pre and post conflict elements of self-defence as well as the physical. Our aim is to increase your confidence and survivability on the streets of today, without impeding on the demands of life.

Our courses are specifically geared to the streets and the real world. They are designed to be attainable to most women, as the RAID system is not dependent on age, gender or physical prowess or fitness. RAID is a simple and complete conflict management and self-defence process to help you stay safe in your normal everyday life through to a potential confrontation to the aftermath and back to everyday life.  It is realistic for all environments and our RAID system provides solutions through personal security planning and if necessary, de-escalate and defend.

Our course ethos is based on:

  • Defuse - conflict management
  • Defend - practical use of appropriate, proportionate and necessary

Rapid Action Initiated Defence (RAID) is a uniquely different approach to modern self-defence and conflict management through advanced scientific research supported by core principles that have been pressure tested in the real world. This unique system has been designed to follow a systematic 5 step process, which you can learn and retain in such a short space of time. The RAID system has been created to give you a balanced recipe, to successfully defend yourself and provide heightened confidence in dealing with violent confrontations.

We are offering this Self Defence course principally for women, however we can offer it for men in a single sex class run by male trainers if you wish. With notice, we can adapt the training to assist those with certain types of disabilities.
