Crazy Friday - 5 most annoying things people do at airports...

Posted: 21/02/2014

This week's Carzy Friday is the top 5 most annoying thiings people do at airports. Sure there are lots more. How many do you do? From the Metro newspaper....

As if sitting on a smelly plane for hours wasn’t bad enough, there’s the whole hassle of the airport to get through first.

Forgetting to print out your boarding pass and having to queue for aeons, getting spinal problems from hauling your handbag around with you for hours on end and forking out all your hard-earned cash in Kurt Geiger just because it’s there and there’s nothing else to do.

It would almost be bearable if it weren’t for the other annoying travelers making sure every step of the way is that bit more painful:

1. Overpacking

Filling up their suitcases by at least five kilos and spending half an hour in front of you in the check in rifling through their underwear, deciding which books they should carry in their handbag and chatting to the annoying lady at the desk with the orange lipstick. It’s easy: just throw away all the shampoos and let me check in so I can hit the duty free.

2. Holding up security

As if sitting on a smelly plane for hours wasn’t bad enough, there’s the whole hassle of the airport to get through first.

3. Drinking

Getting really drunk in the pub before the flight. Because we will end up sitting next to the sixteen lads wearing the rude t shirts. And we will have to smell their beery breaths for the whole flight and listen to them chanting football songs.

4. Enthusiastic queuing

Lining up for their flight an hour before boarding starts, even though they have assigned seats. The only reason I can think of for this is that British people love to queue. It makes my head spin. Why queue when you can spend an hour sitting on the floor playing Candy Crush?

5. Staring at you whilst they send that last text

All right. I know we’re on a plane and my phone should be off but we haven’t even started moving yet and I need to text my mum goodbye for the third time just in case the plane goes down. OK?

Thanks to the Metro and Deborah Cicurel for her article. Hope this guy is not in front of you at security...
